Ordinary working hours, overtime and employee breaks
Currently, the worker's working day and breaks are regulated in arts. 34 to 38 ET. The duration of the ordinary working day will be that agreed upon in the applicable collective agreement or the employment contract, always respecting the maximum legal working day established in art. ET 34.3. Regarding the maximum legal day, art. 34 of the ET differentiates between a regular and irregular distribution of the day.
